Some units within Glenefer Gardens have air conditioners while others do not. The decision whether to install an air conditioner is at the discretion of the unit owner and depends on his or her plans for the unit.
If you would like an air conditioner for your unit you have 2 options:
1) You can purchase a portable air conditioner. Most tenants like air-conditioning in their lounge room for day-to-day living. The advantage of having a portable air conditioner is that you can move the air-conditioner into a bedroom for those occasional hot summer nights. You also get to keep the air conditioner should you move to another unit in the future which does not have air conditioning.
2) Enquire to the managers whether the owner would like to install an air conditioner? Please put your request in writing to Unit 39 OR email us
info@glenefer.com.au. We we put forward your request to the owner on whether the purchase of a new air conditioner for their unit is within their budget and their future plans for the unit. Please note however: the approximate cost for supply and fit of a split system air-conditioner is around the $2200-$2500 depending on the unit therefore it is more than likely that an increase in rent would be required.
